Timekeeper 97 Updates
|
Updating to the latest
Timekeeper Software
|
If you already have a version of Timekeeper, it may be out
of date. If your Timekeeper is version 0.81 or before then you
need to install version 1.36 and
convert your existing data. You convert your existing data by
using the restore function of the Timekeeper utility. This is
just like restoring your data from a backup. Installing version
1.36 and converting your data makes no change to your current
Timekeeper or your current data so you can install the new Timekeeper
and try it out without any risk to your current operation. See
changes and improvements for the
differences between Timekeeper 97 and the original Timekeeper.
If you have a Timekeeper 97 version 1.1 to 1.35 then you can
update it to version 1.36. You download the file Tk1p36u.exe.
You will need to get a user id and password from ekg@cfg.com.
Tk1p36u is a self extracting zip file. You extract the 5 files
in Tk1p36u directly into your Timekeeper folder. This is most
likely C:\Program Files\Timekeeper. The 5 new files will replace
the equivalent ones in your Timekeeper folder. Then you open the
Timekeeper Utility and click Finish Installation. If your Timekeeper
is before version 1.3 then your data will be converted to the
newest format by finish installation. See Version
1.36 Changes and Version 1.35 Changes
for the changes and fixes in the last few versions of Timekeeper
97. On some systems the 1.36 update will not fix a problem with
the Report Data button. If this happens and you really want the
Report Data button then you will need to install
version 1.36.
